We recently spent time in in a house I would describe as a traditional property on the last visit to the La Zagaleta development. The biggest thing thatgot me about this villa is its amazing, flat and useable plot. Upon entering the villa, it is apparent that the current owner has bought a plot closest to the access road, to make sure he had additional front garden space and also giving extra distance from the avenue leading past the front of the house. This means it would be feasible to construct more staff quarters that would offer a separate residence up to about 150m2 in internal size.
The driveway takes you up to a circular courtyard that assists you when you want to turn your vehicles around and also has the added feature of looking fantastic. When you enter the hallway of the property you greeted by a particularly high ceiling and a splendid grand staircase, when you look upwards and towards the left up you see a tasteful library area with dark wood ceilings. Straight on, downstairs you have a big lounge and beyond that you really begin to appreciate how excellent and useable this garden is. Leading off from the right of the lounge area there is a dining room that is particularly bright as it is triple aspect. To the left side of the living room, there is an oak-panelled area that would be perfect for entertaining, there is a full size snooker table currently. This room has the feel of a prestigious gentlemens club.

The feel of this villa is classical and I do think because of its location within the La Zagaleta estate and unique, flat garden area, prospective purchasers who are looking for something more modern should not rule this house out. With some aesthetic alterations and also changing the location of the pool directly in front of the house could have spectacular results.
