The property is set in the most mature area of the entire estate, so you need not worry about further villa construction nearby. You will have these views forever and that isn´t estate agent rhetoric it is a fact. The house also looks really impressive from the driveway too, even giving you a massive turning circle for your Maybach!

La Zagaleta Property - Possiblity To Extend

La Zagaleta Property Pool area and rear of house

This La Zagaleta property has a very clean and modern interior, particularly evident in the kitchen area, where the white cupboard and brushed steel appliances really give it a high end contemporary feel. Covering some 628m2, the property has 3 bedrooms, one of which, the master suite offers a great deal of space.

The plot is 5444m2 and is totally private, offering views across the lush Andalucian estate. This can be enjoyed by the infinity pool and jacuzzi area within the gardens.

Another great feature of this La Zagaleta property for sale is that there is the possibility to extend the interior by another 238m2. Adding value to this already reasonably priced property.

The Financial Times has printed an article today, mentioning Stanley Fink, who some of the Conservative Party refer to as Saint Stanley. He made the comment that La Zagaleta was "as close to paradise as he could get wthin Europe." Praise indeed for the estate, but its nothing we don´t already know!

Looking For a Big La Zagaleta Property?

View from La Zagaleta property master bathroom

This La Zagaleta property has a great deal of size, 1762m2 of internal space, to be precise. Spread over 7 bedrooms and 7 bathrooms, with extensive living space and well placed terracing. The house gives a really grand first impression, with high ceilings and an impressive, large entrance hall. One of the most stunning features, that also acts as a great way to ensure all the rooms are filled with light, is the cobbled and charming central courtyard.

Cental courtyard that floods the adjoining rooms with plenty of light

The kitchen is filled with the very best of appliances and there is also a breakfast area that will take you to an ultra convenient terrace, perfect for enjoying your meals alfresco.

The house has great panormic views, that include the La Concha to the North West and the coastline to the South. This can really be enjoyed from the infinity pool and garden terrace. The formal dining room is also suitably grand, making this one of the best houses for entertaining.

Full home cinema facilities, sauna, steam room and a dedicated games room are some of the leisure facilities at your disposal. If you are a lover of cars, you have space for 12 in the massive garage. Overall this is a big property, on a plot of over 7000m2, so if you are looking for size, coupled with traditional elegance the property is well worth a view.

Tinsa Indicates Property Prices in Spain Down 4.3%

My favourite source of property information (beggars can´t be choosers), Tinsa the property valuers, indicates a drop of 4.3% from July to July. It does demonstrate that, according to their figures, the fall in house prices is slowing on a month to month basis.

Because this is based on valuations rather than transactions, this can only be used as a very, very rough indicator.  I do refer to this, mainly because of the scarcity of accurate transaction value information that is available. I suppose if you aggregate this information with other sources such as the National Office of Statistics, this is the closest one can get. One set of information you can discount immediately are the figures produced by the Ministry of Housing, you may as well ask the cat.

Interestingly, the index uses the year of 2001 as a base, this shows that property prices, in the popular coastal areas, despite the recent downturn, are still double than that of 10 years ago.

La Zagaleta Rustic Villa Offered

Pool and Rear of house photo

This is a real Andalucian style property with a great deal of space inside and very, very private grounds. This La Zagaleta villa for sale has big dimensions and five bedrooms, breaking down the actual inside measurements, the ground floor has a total area of 443.87m2, the lower ground floor has 363.32 m2 and an there is also a basement with total space of 187.90m2.

The plot that the house is situated upon is 5891m2 with countryside views. The property rustic in style, with terracotta floors and traditional dark wood windows. There is also a games room and five bathrooms. All of the materials used are of excellent standard and the driveway to the house is pretty impressive.

The pool area is well thought out and the terracing surrounding it flows nicely from the living area, something that most people with a family find the most desireable layout.

Thailand Beachfront Mansion Sells For US$24 million

Reports are coming in that California Fitness founder, Eric Levine has sold his huge beachfront home to an undisclosed Russian purchaser for US$24 million, the asking price was originally US$27.5 million, according to Property Report Asia. The property covered some 6500m2 and was situated in Natai Beach within Thailand's Phang Nga region.

Interestingly, the property had been up for sale for over two years and had extensive coverage from agents, including features in publications like the New York Times. I bring this up as there are several schools of thought regarding the marketing of this level of property. Many people feel super wealthy want to find out about exclusive properties in a discrete manner and the fact that there is any kind of marketing means the property isn´t that exclusive.

Then, of course there is the "super saturation" theory. Get the house out with as many agents as possible. hoping that the right buyer catches a glimpse of the property. This, it seems, is what happened in the above example.

From my perspective I feel it should be somewhere in the middle. IE. there does need to be an element of marketing, plus some networking. In a nutshell the super luxury property does need to be put "out there" in some way.

Michelle Obama in Marbella and Rubbish Cut and Paste Journalism

Marbella has been nothing short of ripped to shreds by the British press for the last few years, revelling in the tales of corruption, coining the over used cliche phrase "Costa Del Crime" to sell papers. As a resident of the area for many years, I was delighted to read about Michelle Obama selecting the area for a family holiday, my happiness didn´t last too long, as even this great news manages to garner a less than positive spin at the hands of the Daily Telegraph newspaper - Read the article here

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/northamerica/usa/michelle-obama/7920121/Michelle-Obama-gives-Marbella-the-presidential-seal-of-approval.html

This is an ill-informed, lazy piece of journalism that, despite its positive title, is filled with the usual bullshit that paints a totally inaccurate picture of Marbella. Max Clifford, the PR veteran, gave an interview recently and talked about the mis-representation that the UK press indulges in, regarding the Marbella area. Why does this nonsense make it to print? Tell me where an element of crime doesn´t exist when there is such an extreme concentration of wealth? Nowhere.

I would also like the journalist who penned this rubbish, to tell me where specifically I can buy fish and chips (the traditional english dish, rather than Rosada con patatas fritas) on the beachfront in either Marbella or Puerto Banus? Please do some proper insightful content that portrays the area properly rather than regurgitating the same old tired stories that I am sure most people are sick of reading.

Rant over, I hope Michelle Obama enjoys her stay and speaks frankly about how she found Marbella.
